I wanted to write a quick reminder about our special guest tomorrow night at Eastwood. Brad Fogarty will be with us as well as Phil Blount. We will have several other churches joining with us as we come together to celebrate the goodness of God!
Brad was our camp speaker this year and is a gifted communicator. If you have the chance join us in the sanctuary Wednesday evening at 6:30

To get ready read Romans 2:12-16. We are going to be talking about our conscience, where it came from and what is its purpose. Should our conscience “be our guide”? Does God speak to us in our conscience? Have you ever disobeyed that “inner voice” of right and wrong? What was the result? The Bible mentions 11 different types of consciences! See you Sunday……..

Questions [5] Comments
Several of our folks at Faith Week said that they heard from God while at camp? Here is the question, “How did you know that it was God?” Did you hear a voice? Did God give you a verse of Scripture? Was it an impression? Was it a feeling? How did you know?

Be sure and join us this Sunday morning at Eastwood as Gordon continues his series on hearing the voice of God. This week we will be looking at Psalm 19, and one of the ways in which God speaks to all people. If you get the chance read Psalm 19 and come ready to hear from God!
By the way, Sunday night we will have the privilege of hearing a report on Ben Cole’s recent trip to Brazil. Join us as we celebrate together the great things that God is doing in South America.

Brother Chip asked this question in the comments of another post, but I thought we should give it it’s own post. So let us hear from you…

Share your experiences of hearing from God. Have any of you heard from God and chose not to respond? What happened. How did you feel? When you acted on what God said to you , did it turn out the way you thought it would?
Yesterday, our pastor began a series on “Hearing God”, with a look at the call of Samuel. In the sermon, Gordon said that:
1. God calls us by name
2. God desires a relationship
3. God reveals His purpose
We would love to hear your thoughts and questions regarding this message, please leave us a comment!
By the way, if you have questions regarding the evening sermon from Romans 4, you can ask those here as well.
May God richly bless you today and give you a hunger for His word and a desire to know Him more!!
