Below is the Memory verse for our Church for February.

Let’s hide God’s Word in our hearts!

But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds. NIV

But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, That I may declare all Your works. NKJV

But as for me, how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign LORD my shelter, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do. NLT

But [it is] good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works. KJV

But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all your works. ESV

But as for me, the nearness of God is my good; I have made the Lord *GOD my refuge, That I may tell of all Your works. NASB

Pero en cuanto a mí, el acercarme a Dios es el bien; he puesto en Jehová el Señor mi esperanza, para contar todas tus obras. RVR

Black Friday Recap

November 28, 2012

I’m glad to say that I didn’t go out on Black Friday to shop. I like to shop, don’t get me wrong. I don’t like the hype though. You can’t save money by spending it unless you are planning to spend it anyway and you ‘get a deal’.

Read the following article for a great insight to ‘Black Friday’

December Scripture Memory Verse

November 28, 2012

December 2012 Memory Verse Luke 1:37

December’s verse is an easy one to memorize. Many of you already know it. It is however, very powerful. We need to believe this and also act upon it. When we run up against the ‘brick wall’ , or the mountain, or the obstacle, let’s give God the glory by trusting Him when all seems lost!

For with God nothing will be impossible. NKJV

For with God nothing shall be impossible. KJV

For nothing will be impossible with God. NASB

For nothing is impossible with God. NLT, NIV

For nothing will be impossible with God. ESV

Porque nada hay imposible para Dios. RSV

Scripture Memory-September 2012

August 27, 2012

We have been sharing messages about ‘hearing God speak’. Scripture memory hides the Word of God in our heart. God frequently uses the memorized Word to speak to us. The Word becomes ‘personalized’ to our particular need or situation. The following verse for September is a powerful reminder.

“O Sovereign LORD! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you! NLT

Image“Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. NIV

Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. Jeremiah 32:17 NKJV

Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, [and] there is nothing too hard for thee. KJV

‘Ah, Lord GOD! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you. ESV

‘Ah Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You. NASB

¡Oh Señor Jehová! he aquí que tú hiciste el cielo y la tierra con tu gran poder, y con tu brazo extendido, ni hay nada que sea difícil para ti. RSV
